Italy is one of the word’s largest wine producers. Unlike its two main rivals, France and Spain, vines are cultivated throughout the entire peninsula. Italy extends through approximately 10 degrees of latitude and hence spans a large and diverse range of climates. The North of Italy enjoys a continental climate and produces wines that are lighter and more elegant in style.

Chiaro is situated in the Northern city of Venice, which is known for its culture, history, art and of course the love of the fine cuisine. The Chiaro wines are crafted by the well-respected winemaker Alessandro Botter, whose expertise never fails to make well-balanced, fresh, exciting wines.

The two classic Varietals in the portfolio have gained a loyal following. The Pinot Grigio captures the essence of Italy with its elegant and fresh style and the Sangiovese offers a full flavoured, fruit driven, robust red. Together they deliver the modern taste of Italian wine and are the ideal companion to a variety of different cuisines.
